Painting in the 21st Century

Velveteen Kitty

This little beanbag guy straddled my computer monitor for years when I worked at Johns Hopkins University. Always made me smile as I turned on the computer. Always behaved better than my real black & white cat at home.

Several years after I left that office I found the kitty among a box of things I was ready to trash. Again he made me smile. I dusted off his velvety coat, set him on a bright cloth, and got out the paints.
